Ta-daaa!
After a long time in development and with a lot of secrets it’s finally time to reveal Retro Dungeon Games.
It’s a game company made and run by me (for the moment) that focuses on the development of computer games, smartphone/tablet games and graphics design.

What makes this different from prior attempts at game making is numerous. But basically, the core differences are the level of professionalism, the office and the funding. I am writing this in my office space and I’m figuring out where the 5000$ I’ve been funded should go (Potentially much more on the way)

Currently, there’s a Android-based game in development called Laser Ninja. A sort of 80′s, Saturday morning cartoon based action/reaction test game.

Road behind, the road ahead

If you’ve been following me, especially in recent times, you’ll see that it’s been an interesting year for me.
A lot of experimentation. And I’ll be the first to step forward to say that things could have gone better, in terms of product creation.

In learning and experimenting, however, this has been a golden age for me. I have never grown so much in a year, as an arist, as I have now.
In less than a year I have learned to do 3D gaming, better programming, actually started to draw and I’ve broken away from simple flash games.
Every day I work on something new and it’s great.

So, while Deepsea now didn’t make it’s Indiegogo funding, I’m not sad. In fact, I consider it shelved since if I one day actually get Unity Pro, nothing’s stopping me from making it.

But, for now, what am I up to?
All I really want to say is that I’m going for projects now that I know I can do, without requiring anything except my own time and effort.

Updating the Demo

So, I got some feedback on the demo (I’d actually like more, but what can you do?) so I started making a more refined, improved version.
Hopefully, it will be done next week. It will include new gameplay features such as an air mechanic and a way to track the hidden treasure.
As well as more content and interesting things about.

Site redesign in progress

Site is being redesigned to expect a few things to be “shaky” for the time being.

Changes so far:
- The games section. All my games are now there with their own pages and image thumbs.
- The video and image section now have links to my youtube page and deviantart page.
- The image section now has 25 more pictures.
- The about and donate section is rewritten.
- New, cheeky logo
